Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 fresh jalapeno peppers
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 12 slices bacon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice jalapenos in half lengthwise and carefully remove seeds and membranes.
  3. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeno half.
  5. If using, wrap each stuffed jalapeno half with a bacon slice and secure with a toothpick.
  6. Place the poppers in a single layer inside the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  7. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until bacon is crispy and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Remove carefully and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crunch, sprinkle panko breadcrumbs on top of the cheese before air frying. Serve with ranch dressing or a squeeze of lime.
