  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the chocolate cake according to the package instructions in a 9×13-inch pan. Let cool completely.
  2. In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar to stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until combined.
  5. Spread the cream cheese and whipped cream mixture evenly over the cooled cake.
  6. Arrange sliced strawberries evenly over the cream layer.
  7. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top, if using.
  8. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours before serving to allow flavors to meld.
